Embark on a 4-day Sahara adventure from Agadir to Erg Chegaga, traveling through remote oases, desert villages, and breathtaking mountain landscapes. Discover Morocco’s deep south — far from the usual routes — and spend magical nights under the desert stars.

Day 1: Agadir → Tata
After breakfast, depart from Agadir toward the Tata region, a hidden gem of southern Morocco. Pass through oases, desert plateaus, and dramatic mountain scenery. Visit the oasis of Akka and explore the ancient rock carvings of Umm el-Alek and Tircht. Enjoy a picnic lunch in nature before arriving in Tata for dinner and overnight in a hotel or desert camp.

Day 2: Tata → Foum Zguid → Erg Chegaga
Depart for Foum Zguid, the gateway to the desert. After lunch, continue off-road through the dry lake of Iriki, reaching the vast dunes of Erg Chegaga by afternoon. Watch the sunset from the top of the dunes, then enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night in a nomadic desert camp beneath a starlit sky.

Day 3: Erg Chegaga → M’Hamid → Tamegroute → Agdez
Wake early to admire the sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. Visit M’Hamid, the last oasis before the desert, then continue to Tamegroute to explore its ancient Koranic library and pottery workshops. Cross the lush Draa Valley and reach Agdez for dinner and overnight stay in a local riad.

Day 4: Agdez → Taznakht → Taliouine → Taroudant → Agadir
Drive through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, stopping in Taznakht, known for Berber carpets, and Taliouine, the land of saffron. Visit a women’s cooperative before continuing to Taroudant, a charming walled city nicknamed “Little Marrakech.” Arrive in Agadir by evening.
