Day 1: Agadir → Tata → Foum Zguid
Depart Agadir in the morning and drive through the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Visit remote villages and the oasis of Tata. Continue to Foum Zguid, the gateway to the desert. Overnight in a local guesthouse or hotel.
Day 2: Foum Zguid → Erg Chegaga Desert
After breakfast, traverse the dry plains and desert tracks by 4×4, reaching the magnificent Erg Chegaga dunes. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars, complete with traditional Berber music and dinner.
Day 3: Erg Chegaga → Zagora → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the dunes. Drive through the desert plains to Zagora, then follow the lush Draa Valley, known for its palm groves and kasbahs. Continue to Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Desert,” for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → High Atlas → Marrakech
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping at the UNESCO site Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, concluding an unforgettable Sahara adventure.
